Affectionately
known as “African Violet” by our
Pastor, Sis Alfred was raised in
New Orleans, Louisiana. After
graduating high school, she
enrolled at Louisiana State
University (LSU) to pursue a
B.S. in Advertising and
Marketing.
In her fourth
year of college, Sis Alfred
relocated to Bakersfield,
California with her mother.
Shortly after arriving to
Bakersfield, she moved to
southern California where she
met her husband to be, Pastor
Alfred. After marriage, they
relocated to Bakersfield. They
have been happily married for
more than 14 years.
Sis
Alfred is always energetic and
cheerful. She loves to share an
encouraging word to those who
need to be lifted up. |
|
Her warm smile
and caring heart makes her easy
to approach. She is particularly
fond of our youth and wants to
see them given abundant
opportunity to grow. Our First
Lady is committed, as all of St
John MBC, to “Serving a Winner
by Living the Word”. |
