Prayer Retreat – 2008 

In 2008, the St. John Prayer Retreat will be held June 12 – 14th. 
Two nights, five meals, towels and bed linen will be
provided for only $131.00.  

If you would like to make monthly payments you may start now. 

If you begin in December, it will be 7 monthly payments of $18.71.

Just place your payment in a tithing envelope and write down Prayer Retreat.

All meetings are held every 1st Saturday of the month at 10:00am in the New Dining Room. All wives who are interested in joining this ministry of love, strength, and encouragement, are invited to join us in a study session and potluck:

Lily of the Valley Ministry

The Lily of the Valley Ministry thanks God for the privilege of being workers together with Him on His program.
 We serve in the following areas:
Conduct Convalescent Hospital Visitations
Send Care Packages to Our Troops in the War Zone
Contribute to the Children of World Vision
Support College Students

Please join us as a part of the Lily of the Valley Ministry.

The Ruth Ministry of the St. John Missionary Baptist Church is so grateful to God for allowing us to enter into this New Year of 2007. Our purpose is to encourage all of the women who are not involved in a ministry to join us on our journey to bless others. What are we about? God’s Work!!
What do we do?
• We have a bible lesson with young women from the New Directions Group home.
• We send money each month to two college students.
• We visit the sick.
• We deliver bags of encouragement to shut-ins.
• We also work in VBS, noon-time prayer, Sunday School, Baptism, Hospitality, New Members Council, and the Nursery.

Please join us the 1st and 2nd Monday of each month at 7:00 pm.

St. John Usher Board

Please come and join us. Whether you are a new member, or an existing member you are welcomed to join the St. John Usher Board.

If you can stand a post come and help us serve the Lord.  All ages are needed, the only requirement is that you be a Christian and a member of the St. John Missionary Baptist Church.

 Meeting nights are as follows:
 Youth ages 13-26, Monday 7:00 pm-8:00 pm
 Juniors ages 8-12, Tuesday 7:00 pm-8:00 pm
 Adults 27 and up, Tuesday 8:00 pm -9:00 pm.
